About the Author
Ayers, Lyn: - This is Lyn Ayers' first foray into researching and writing a full-length book, although writing is not a new activity. He has been a frequent contributor to Stein Collectors International (SCI) quarterly newsletter Prosit. He is well-known in the stein collecting community for his research and commitment to the hobby and has been a keynote speaker about J. W. Remy at several SCI Conventions. SCI honored Lyn for his original research by presenting him the prestigious Master Steinologist Award in 2007. Lyn has been the featured speaker at a number of SCI chapter meetings and has been honored to serve as president of his local chapter Pacific Stein Sammler. He served the organization for seventeen years as the Librarian/Museum Director. In researching this book, he traveled to Germany on several occasions.
