About the Author
As a child, Beatrice Simon was charmed by the magic of crochet, and first learned to crochet granny squares from her Aunt Lila in the 1970s. After working as a language teacher and translator for many years, she rediscovered the endless possibilities for creation using nothing but a hook and some yarn. She has published many patterns through her website (lillicroche.wordpress.com). She lives in Brittany, France.

Barbara Wilder has loved needlecrafts since she was a girl. She runs a textile decoration business under the label Raumseelig (raumseelig.blogspot.com) and has recently begun studying graphic design. She is a coauthor of Granny Squares--Over 25 Creative Ways to Crochet. She lives with her husband and two grown children in the district of Heilbronn, Germany.
