Imagine your worst fear as a parent has come true: you failed your child and he is a sadistic cruel monster. Now, Makeba must find her son and stop him before he kills again. Her only son is destroying her life's work of protecting the Earth and using every trick she taught him to do it. Makeba cleans up his trail of destruction as she travels the ley lines of power on the Earth to track him down. She gets in touch with her children, old friends and enemies across the world to prepare for his attempts to take over her position and power to use for his own twisted plans. Of course, her job does get in the way as she is drawn into circumstances in which she must protect the Earth's places of power from others that would abuse it.
Strange changes are happening and new uncharted wells of power are springing up that she has to add to her map. It's a lot of work for an entity that's been around for a few millennia and she's ready for some help. Makeba will have to go back to the scene of her greatest tragedy to convince her promising great-great-granddaughter to leave her father's motorcycle repair shop in the sleepy southern town and claim her true birthright. While she tries to make amends for past wrongs and convince her granddaughter to join the metaphysical manhunt, she realizes there's more to this town than meets the eye. There is unclaimed power here but the source may be tainted which explains the remarkable amount of shenanigans taking place in the quirky little Café perched over it.
