Large PrintAbout the AuthorHamilton, Sao: - Sao began cooking at an early age by helping her mother both in her own kitchen at home and in her family's cooking business in Bangkok. Sao's commitment to cooking led her to enrol in Thai baking school and to work in the catering business. She has been cooking and baking daily ever since, as well as entertaining friends at home. Sao loves browsing through cookbooks, visiting fresh markets, tasting new cuisines and watching cooking programmes all of which provide her inspiration. She does a lot of research on ingredients, methods and flavours to ensure the dishes turn out just right. She is continually learning and developing new skills and techniques to help improve her dishes. She also frequently tests her ideas on her loyal and hungry friends. When it comes to Thai cuisine, Sao's mom inspires her to cook authentic Thai dishes. Her cooking skills and her love of Thai food have developed into a quarter-century career of personal and commercial cooking spanning high school to married life.
