She is the coauthor with Connie Hatch of How to Say No Without Feeling Guilty, and with Carol J. Adams of How to Eat Like a Vegetarian Even If You Never Want to Be One. Patti is on the advisory councils of the Animals & Society Institute and Jewish Veg. In 2016 she was awarded the Lisa Shapiro Award for Unsung Vegan Heroes. Patti and her husband advocate for people and animals in need of support in the San Francisco Bay Area.
