About the book:

10 Dudes is a true story of a personal diary-turned online blog-eventually turned book. A young woman from California interested in better understanding love, dating, relationships and modern romance sets out on a social experiment and serial dates hundreds of men over the course of a year. She writes about 10 of her most memorable experiences, with the hopes of learning everything she can, so that she can become an expert on the subjects. After some encouragement from family and friends, she posts her diary online, only to find it quickly reaches and touches the lives of thousands of people around the world. The story's purpose is to support others and make them feel less alone on their own journeys to self-love and is full of brutal honesty, heartbreak, havoc, humor and healing, keeping you wanting to read on, long after the story ends...

About the author:

Blaire was born and raised by a family of artists in the mountainous beach town of Santa Cruz, California, USA. It was there that she gained an appreciation for the arts and a passion for holistic health at an early age. She struggled with her own mental and physical health challenges most of her youth, allowing her deep empathy for the pain of others. She achieved her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, with an emphasis in Health Communication during her study abroad in Thailand, as well as an emphasis in Leadership from San Diego State University. There, at the age of 21, she was elected the first female CEO/President in 15 years of the 26.8 million-dollar Associated Students Organization. Her time advocating for students in higher education caused her to become increasingly aware of the need for proper access to mental and physical health support around the world. Upon graduating college, she worked for three years at Sony Pictures Studio in Los Angeles, where she became an active participant in the self-development community, learning from and working with brilliant minds in the space, who were already empowering people to take health into their own hands, through avenues of media and entertainment. She garnered an increased interest in human behavior and optimization, which led her to embark on a year-long invigorating social experiment to better understand modern romance, love, dating, and the psychology of human relationships (the first iteration of 10 Dudes: a successful blog that resulted in a lot of attention and followers!). In 2018, she was diagnosed with a chronic illness and forced to take medical leave from her job. A year later, she moved to the United Kingdom and successfully healed from her disease holistically, while pursuing her Masters of Science degree in Health Psychology at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. She now works as a life coach in health, business, and relationships between Los Angeles and London, and plans to pursue her doctorate in the future. In her free time, she enjoys writing, singing, traveling, frequenting coffee shops, and spending time in nature with her family, friends and dog, Cosette (Cozy).
