About the Author
Frank Amthor is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he also works in the departments of Neurobiology, Optometry and Biomedical Engineering. He has previously written Neuroscience for Dummies and Neurobiology for Dummies and is co-editor of the textbook Essentials of Modern Neuroscience.
