Jessica has achieved her MFA from Queens University in Charlotte and is the past Vice President of ScholasticChess with the North Carolina Chess Association (NCCA). She has been a weekly author for the interactive website www.chesskid.com. In 2008, Jessica created Over The Chessboard, an organization dedicated to promoting chess for everyone, and a scholarship has been created in her name at the International School of Tucson.
